Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, the “Humaid Air Bridge” has successfully concluded its mission, delivering over 600 tonnes of crucial humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Spanning over two months, this relief initiative saw vital food and humanitarian supplies being transported to Al Arish, Egypt, before reaching Gaza in collaboration with local authorities.
Among the supplies dispatched were approximately 30,000 food parcels, specifically tailored to address the needs of Palestinian families. This initiative is anticipated to benefit over 150,000 individuals in urgent need.
Multiple UAE humanitarian organizations played a key role in this campaign, including the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, the International Charity Organisation, and the Emirates Red Crescent in Ajman.
This operation forms part of the UAE's extensive humanitarian efforts under the strategy of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, initiated by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The operation features a variety of relief missions, including aerial and maritime support, “Birds of Goodness” aid drops, field and floating hospital assistance, alongside multiple humanitarian programs designed to alleviate suffering among the Palestinian populace.
