UAE Leaders Celebrate Graduates at ENS Al Ain Ceremony

In a splendid ceremony held under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emirates National Schools (ENS) Al Ain Campus marked the graduation of its 19th cohort at the United Arab Emirates University.

The event honored 222 male and female graduates from the “Year of Family 2026” group, with distinguished attendees including Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, alongside senior officials, parents, and education advocates.

The ceremony underscored the unwavering support of UAE leadership towards the educational sector, fostering the growth of national schools. Leaders articulated the necessity of equipping students with contemporary knowledge, contemporary skills, and innovative learning methodologies.

During his address, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended his congratulations to the graduates and their families, transmitting the greetings of Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He emphasized the vital aspects of diligence and commitment in contributing to the nation’s progress.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Hameeri, Chairman of the ENS Board, acknowledged Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's ongoing support, which has elevated the quality of education and fortified ENS's standing both locally and internationally.

He further emphasized that ENS is committed to developing innovative educational programs centered around artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, and clean energy. Moreover, the schools seek to instill Emirati identity, strengthen Arabic language proficiency, and encourage innovation among students.

Lachlan Mackinnon, Director-General of ENS, remarked that the institution is gearing up students for future endeavors via technology-infused learning experiences. He also highlighted initiatives aimed at nurturing gifted students through various scholarship opportunities.

Students from ENS attained 23 distinguished awards in areas like AI, science, innovation, arts, and education, alongside 31 commendable achievements in sports and martial arts on both local and international stages.

Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh was among the notable attendees, reflecting the significance of education in ensuring the nation's future development.

At the conclusion of the celebration, officials recognized the accomplishments of the graduates and other extraordinary students. Parents and guests expressed their pride in the achievement and extended aspirations for a promising future for the students in the service of the UAE.

Founded in 2002, Emirates National Schools have been pivotal in cultivating skilled, knowledgeable, and innovative generations prepared to tackle future challenges.
