The horror-comedy raked in an impressive Rs 130.25 crore in its opening week, establishing a robust launch. While earnings dipped slightly during the second week, the film pulled in an additional Rs 3.50 crore on its eighth day, bringing its total box office collection to Rs 133.75 crore.

The plot unfolds around Raja Saab, played by Prabhas, a simple man residing in a village with his grandmother, who is afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease and fervently believes that her husband, Kanakaraja, will return after a crucial mission. A supernatural encounter with a mysterious man resembling his grandfather sets Raja Saab on an emotional quest to reunite the elderly couple, weaving a narrative that intricately blends emotion and supernatural elements.

Alongside Prabhas, the film features an impressive ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani, Murali Sharma, VTV Ganesh, and Prabhas Sreenu. Produced by IVY Entertainment and People Media Factory, the film aligns with their reputation for successful ventures.

Director Maruthi Dasari recently announced that they are already in the works for a sequel to The Raja Saab. He mentioned that while the upcoming movie will remain in the horror realm, it will introduce a wholly new storyline and setting, separate from the initial film. The objective is to enhance the horror experience with a fresh, inventive script, aiming to present something entirely different within the genre.

Thanks to its remarkable box office success and the anticipation surrounding a sequel, The Raja Saab continues to captivate its audience, keeping fans eager for what’s next.
