Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Diwali release Thamma has crossed the ₹120 crore mark at the domestic box office. After 13 days in theatres, the total stands at ₹120.05 crore.

Second Weekend Trends

On its second Sunday, the film earned ₹4.25 crore, maintaining the same pace as Saturday, as per early estimates. The movie retained double-digit figures during its first six days but saw a gradual decline afterward.

Record Opening In Maddock Universe

Thamma emerged as the second-highest opener in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe, behind only Stree 2. It also became Ayushmann Khurrana’s biggest opener, surpassing the opening-day figure of ₹10.69 crore set by Dream Girl 2.

Trade Analysts’ Take

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted the film’s steady performance during its first weekend. He mentioned that while Friday showed a slight dip due to the working day, business picked up in the evening, especially in the South. The weekend boost was expected to strengthen the overall total further.

Critical Response and Cast Details

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The film is connected to the larger Maddock horror-comedy universe, which includes titles like Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya. Reviews praised the performances of the lead actors and their seamless handling of comedic and supernatural elements.
