Tere Ishk Mein, featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has made a solid mark at the Indian box office, earning ₹76.75 crore in its first six days. After a strong opening weekend, the film saw the usual midweek dip but maintained steady occupancy across key cities.

The film collected ₹16 crore on Friday, ₹17 crore on Saturday (+6.25%), and ₹19 crore on Sunday (+11.76%). Monday saw a dip to ₹8.75 crore (-53.95%), followed by ₹10.25 crore on Tuesday (+17.14%) and ₹5.07 crore on Wednesday. The opening weekend witnessed a surge, especially on Sunday, while weekdays recorded moderate declines, reflecting standard audience trends.

Occupancy varied across India, with Chennai and Jaipur leading at 16%, Lucknow at 15.33%, Mumbai, Pune, and NCR staying between 12–13%, and Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Surat, and Bhopal ranging from 5.33–11.67%. Morning and afternoon shows saw 4–18% occupancy, evening shows slightly higher, while night shows struggled at 0%. Chennai had 57 shows, while NCR led with 1,296 shows, showing city-wise audience distribution.

Directed by Aanand L. Rai, Tere Ishk Mein is a romantic-drama exploring the intense love story of Shankar (Dhanush), an emotionally volatile Air Force pilot, and Mukti (Kriti Sanon), a psychologist assigned to treat him. Their college romance turns into obsession, betrayal, and heartbreak when Mukti leaves, creating an emotionally charged narrative.

With music by A. R. Rahman, the film has sparked conversations for its dark and intense storyline, keeping audiences engaged with performances, music, and emotional depth.
