In the late hours, a thrilling police pursuit on the New Klang Valley Expressway culminated in a crash in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, resulting in the apprehension of a Malaysian man and a foreign woman. The chase was initiated after the suspects evaded a checkpoint inspection. Officers pursued their Proton Preve as it sped down the highway, posing a danger to fellow motorists.

The 45-year-old Malaysian driver displayed erratic driving, attempting to escape from the police. The pursuit continued until they veered off towards Subang and entered a bustling intersection in Subang Jaya.

Things escalated when the suspect's vehicle collided with a black BMW at a traffic signal on Persiaran Tujuan, abruptly halting the chase and allowing officers to detain both individuals on the spot.

Following a search of the car, authorities discovered several packets of suspected drugs weighing approximately 16 grams, raising alarms over potential drug-related offenses.

The male suspect, with a lengthy criminal past featuring 21 records tied to various crimes, tested positive for methamphetamine after his arrest. Meanwhile, the female passenger, a foreign national, lacks prior criminal history but has also been taken into custody for investigation.
