Dubai: Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, recently gathered influential figures from the cultural and creative sectors to bolster resilience and forward planning within the industry.

The meeting, themed ‘Creative Sector Resilience’, was held in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation at the Etihad Museum. The event included a diverse assembly of stakeholders, including cultural institutions, creative organizations, event managers, and service providers.

During the gathering, Sheikha Latifa underscored the significance of collaboration and flexibility for sustainable growth. She pointed out that Dubai's creative sector has always demonstrated adaptability and strength through innovation and partnerships, even amidst uncertainties.

She confirmed that the emirate’s leadership remains committed to prioritizing its people while ensuring stability and progress, all while safeguarding current achievements and investing in emerging opportunities. She reiterated that unified efforts and confidence are crucial for nurturing a vibrant creative ecosystem.

This meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Dubai Culture to ensure continuity and readiness in the sector, focusing on current challenges, shared priorities, and collaborative opportunities through structured dialogue.

Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, emphasized that adaptability is at the heart of Dubai’s cultural strategy. She highlighted the need for innovative frameworks and practical solutions to enhance performance and readiness in the sector.

Badri noted that the workshop is designed to translate discussions into actionable steps to support long-term growth and empower creative talent through valuable platforms.

Khalfan Belhoul also highlighted the necessity of leadership support in inspiring innovation and creativity. He stated that stakeholder collaboration is critical for preparing for the future, especially as technology transforms industries and uncovers new opportunities.
