His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan observed a series of live aerial showcases featuring cutting-edge unmanned systems at Tilal Swaihan, as part of the bustling seventh edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX).

The event commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by a spirited performance from the military band. This was soon complemented by the Al Fursan aerobatic team, whose precision formation flights underscored the UAE’s exceptional coordination and aerial skills.

His Highness also observed the Tilal Swaihan Mile Race Championship demonstrations, where participants executed defensive maneuvers using unmanned aerial systems in a simulated operational setup. These exercises mirrored real-world scenarios, emphasizing the enhancement of air defense readiness, adaptability in operations, and integrating cutting-edge technology with highly skilled personnel across defense, security, and civilian areas.

During his tour, Sheikh Zayed visited multiple pavilions showcasing both local and international firms participating in the live demonstrations. Exhibitors revealed their latest advancements in unmanned aerial platforms and AI-driven tactical systems aimed at enhancing operations across land, sea, and air.

He also evaluated sophisticated simulation systems for unmanned aerial vehicle operations presented at the concurrent exhibition, showcasing various applications that extend to defense, security, and civilian uses such as aerial medical evacuation, firefighting, and emergency interventions in remote locales.

The exhibition features a dedicated commercial section where participating organizations unveil unmanned solutions targeting smart mobility, modern urban infrastructure, energy, and future supply chains. The event additionally includes panel discussions that gather experts and industry leaders to share insights and visions on the future of autonomous aviation and advanced systems.

Moreover, attendees showcase virtual and digital training innovations aimed at bolstering preparedness, enhancing skills, and developing advanced operational capabilities. These initiatives embody UMEX’s commitment to fostering technological progress alongside SimTEX’s emphasis on enhancing human capacity to meet the evolving demands of sophisticated systems.
