Sheikh Hazza Inspects AI-Driven Security and Emergency Systems in Al Ain

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan made a visit to the Al Ain Police Directorate to evaluate cutting-edge security and emergency response technologies aimed at enhancing public safety in the Al Ain Region.

Throughout his visit, Sheikh Hazza received updates on multiple strategic initiatives from the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, especially focusing on crime prevention, drug control measures, and the incorporation of artificial intelligence in the Safe City System.

Officials elaborated on the role of AI in supporting on-ground operations, analyzing data, and anticipating criminal activities. This technology is also pivotal in improving efficiency in policing, reducing fatalities from accidents, and fostering better coordination with key partners.

Sheikh Hazza assessed the Security Incident Management System and looked into the collaborative efforts between various authorities for addressing security emergencies. This system aims to accelerate decision-making and boost efficiency in field responses while ensuring the highest standards of readiness and professionalism.

Additionally, he obtained insights from the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre regarding its preparedness strategies and cooperation with strategic partners, particularly for tackling adverse weather challenges in the Al Ain Region.

The briefing underscored proactive initiatives to enhance emergency response times, strengthen the coordination among relevant organizations, and ensure the safeguarding of lives and properties without disrupting public services.

During the excursion, Sheikh Hazza also reviewed the operations of civil defence centers run by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, evaluating their readiness for emergency situations and the advancements in their safety, security, and rapid response capabilities.

Officials showcased the advanced technologies and smart systems employed by rescue, firefighting, and ambulance teams which are essential for supporting field operations and enhancing emergency response efficiency.

Sheikh Hazza emphasized the necessity of integrating modern technologies and AI innovations into policing and emergency preparedness frameworks. He remarked that these technologies are crucial for preserving lives and securing assets, while also enhancing preventative measures and delivering exceptional security services aligned with global best practices.

He acknowledged the expertise and diligence of the personnel from Al Ain Police Directorate, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre. Sheikh Hazza reiterated the need for continuously fortifying safety and preparedness frameworks, alongside enhancing proactive response capabilities across diverse emergencies.

Sheikh Hazza was joined by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, along with other senior officers and officials during his visit.
