Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit China Hold Talks With Xi Jinping and Li Qiang

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit China for important meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang as both countries look to strengthen economic, political, and security cooperation. The visit comes at a time when Pakistan is facing economic challenges at home and rising regional tensions in South Asia and the Middle East. Officials from both countries say the talks will focus on trade, investment, infrastructure projects, and regional security issues.

China remains Pakistan’s closest strategic partner and largest investor through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a multi-billion-dollar project that is part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
