Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has successfully executed its “Little Hearts” initiative in Bangladesh, delivering essential medical aid to children battling heart conditions. This humanitarian mission was led by Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi.

The operation was coordinated by a dedicated team of volunteers under the expertise of Dr. Ahmed Al Kamali. During this visit, 65 cardiac catheterization procedures were completed, and nearly 160 children were assessed at the Heart Diseases Centre located in Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital.

Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi emphasized that the “Little Hearts” initiative has been making a difference since its inception in 2009, assisting children in urgent need of heart treatments when their families cannot bear the hefty costs of surgery and healthcare.

He noted that the initiative acts as a crucial support for many children, showcasing SCI's unwavering dedication to providing specialized health services in regions grappling with medical and financial hurdles. Additionally, he mentioned that the UAE's humanitarian efforts concentrate on making significant impacts in individuals' lives and alleviating their struggles through actionable support and medical aid.

During this visit, the SCI team also launched the Dar Al Rahma Orphan Care Home in the Dubail Sadar Tangail region. This facility is designed to enhance the living standards, education, and social welfare of orphaned children, complete with a mosque and various educational resources.

Furthermore, the team distributed 100 food baskets filled with essential items to aid families and individuals in need.

This campaign underscores Sharjah Charity International's ongoing commitment to empowering vulnerable communities and enhancing healthcare and welfare services in Bangladesh.
