Toronto Raptors vs Denver Nuggets Preseason Game Hits Vancouver

Post by : Mina Carter

Vancouver fans will get a rare chance to see NBA action Monday, Oct. 6, when the Toronto Raptors face the Denver Nuggets at Rogers Arena. The preseason game marks the city’s only NBA appearance this year and offers an early look at both teams ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Toronto, Canada’s only NBA team, is hoping to rebound after a disappointing 2024-25 season. The Nuggets, led by superstar Nikola Jokic, will test the Raptors’ lineup. While Jokic’s playing time remains uncertain for the preseason, fellow Canadian Jamal Murray is expected to be on the court. Raptors fans can also cheer for RJ Barrett and other Canadian players.

The matchup has drawn strong interest, with most seats sold. Resale tickets start at roughly $200, while a few remaining courtside tickets exceed $1,000.

TransLink reports no major service alerts for SkyTrain or SeaBus. Late-night ferry service to Nanaimo via Hullo is sold out.
