On Wednesday, Qatar participated in a coordination meeting of permanent representatives at the League of Arab States, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat. This assembly was aimed at organizing for the sixth Arab-European ministerial meeting set to take place in Jordan on June 22-23.
Led by HE Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al-Thani, Qatar's ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative to the League, the delegation engaged actively in discussions.
During this meeting, the Arab representatives received updates regarding the preparations for the Arab-European ministerial summit. Emphasis was placed on fostering coordination and unity among member states.
Furthermore, a draft declaration, intended for presentation at the ministerial assembly, was scrutinized. This declaration is designed to tackle escalating regional issues, particularly the repercussions of recent Iranian attacks directed at Gulf Cooperation Council nations and Jordan, recognized as significant dangers to both regional and international stability.
The sixth Arab-European ministerial gathering symbolizes a sustained commitment from both Arab and European Union countries to foster dialogue and strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
