The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 Observation Initiative has commenced in Qatar, gathering 55 delegates from football associations globally. Over the course of five days, participants will engage in knowledge exchange and practical training related to the organization of significant football events.

This effort is orchestrated by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) alongside the Qatar Football Association. The objective is to convey Qatar's extensive experience in successfully hosting high-profile sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the forthcoming AFC Asian Cup 2023.

Participants will receive on-the-ground insights from LOC operational teams covering vital areas such as ticketing, security, medical services, and marketing. The program also includes visits to key venues like stadiums, training facilities, the Main Media Centre, and the accreditation center.

LOC CEO Jassim Al Jassim stated, "We established this initiative to assist federations worldwide in learning from Qatar's achievements. Our endeavors have set a global standard in sports and entertainment, and we take pride in sharing this knowledge." He further remarked, "Qatar continually strives to provide exceptional experiences for both fans and athletes. Sharing our expertise is crucial for establishing a lasting legacy that can benefit numerous sectors."

Since the FIFA World Cup 2022—deemed one of the most successful editions—Qatar has facilitated several major events. These include hosting the first-ever 48-team FIFA U-17 World Cup and the ongoing FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025. The country is also set to host the final three matches of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025, further showcasing its robust organizational capabilities.

Natasha Al Naber, Competitions Officer at the West Asian Football Federation, commented, "Being in Qatar for this invaluable knowledge-sharing opportunity is amazing. Collaborating with the LOC helps us grasp how tournaments operate and how various teams coordinate, which is essential for our future events."

Norman Gwangwadza, Head of Finance and Administration at the Zimbabwe Football Association, commended Qatar's proficiency in managing multiple events simultaneously. He noted, "Qatar is a fantastic host. This program underscores the significance of planning in areas such as transportation, procurement, and resource management, which are critical for executing successful tournaments."

Edna Nisola, a Media and Marketing Committee Member from the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association, emphasized the importance of learning fan engagement strategies. She remarked, "This football season in Qatar is busy, and observing how LOC provides premier experiences inspires new ideas for enhancing fan interactions and marketing approaches in future events."

Recently, the LOC also welcomed representatives from FIFA World Cup Saudi Arabia 2034 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027. They too gained insights from Qatar’s pioneering role in hosting the inaugural FIFA World Cup in the Arab world and the Middle East, thereby reinforcing global football partnerships.
