The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the drone strikes targeting two northern border posts in Kuwait, which originated from Iraq.
According to an official statement by the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs termed the attack a blatant infringement on Kuwait’s sovereignty and a grave risk to regional security and stability.
Qatar called on Iraq to assume full accountability to prevent the reoccurrence of such incidents and to avert any further escalation in the region.
The Ministry reiterated Qatar’s unwavering solidarity with Kuwait, expressing its support for all actions taken by Kuwait to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
