PureHealth proudly announces that its local procurement expenditures have exceeded AED6.33 billion since joining the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology’s (MoIAT) National In-Country Value (ICV) programme in 2022.

This significant milestone reflects a robust increase from the AED2.25 billion reported in 2025, underscoring PureHealth's pivotal role in advancing the UAE’s economic diversification and industrial progress.

The announcement was made during PureHealth’s presence at the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026 event, where the healthcare provider highlighted its ongoing commitment to enhancing local industries and refining the nation's healthcare landscape through the ICV initiative.

PureHealth is on target to fulfill a commitment of AED13 billion under the ICV initiative by 2032. Its strategy passionately emphasizes fortifying local supply chains, empowering UAE industries, and fostering sustainable economic development.

The group reported impressive ICV outcomes across its healthcare framework, with SEHA attaining an ICV score of 81.13 percent. Other entities like Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Daman, PureLab, and Rafed also made commendable contributions.

As detailed by PureHealth, its methodical approach has successfully woven localization into procurement practices, operations, and workforce development throughout its operations.

Rashed AlQubaisi, Group Chief Operating Officer of PureHealth, emphasized that the company's ICV strategy is crucial for amplifying its influence in the healthcare sector.

He remarked that surpassing AED6.33 billion in local procurement is indicative of PureHealth's emphasis on investing in local suppliers, nurturing national competencies, and enhancing sourcing and logistics. Prioritizing local capabilities not only fortifies supply chain resilience but also supports the UAE’s long-term growth aspirations.

PureHealth’s dedication has garnered national acclaim. In 2026, SEHA received the ICV Champion Award at Make it in the Emirates, while Rafed was honored in 2025 for fostering SME involvement through the ICV initiative.

In addition, Daman was awarded three accolades from the federal Emiratisation initiative Nafis, including a top honor for “Efforts Supporting Emiratisation” and a Diamond Category award for employee empowerment.
