Priyanka Chopra has flown back to India to take part in director S.S. Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film Globetrotter, which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The actor used Instagram Stories to share moments from her trip to Hyderabad, giving fans a glimpse of her enthusiasm for the next leg of filming.
In an in-flight selfie, Priyanka wrote, "And we're off again, destination exciting," and later saluted Celine Dion with the caption, "Queen always and forever @celinedion," on a style post. After landing she posted a brief clip of Hyderabad’s streets from her car window, tagging Mahesh Babu with a laughing emoji.
Arriving at Hyderabad airport in casual attire and accompanied by her team, Chopra was seen greeting a few people before heading off. She has been travelling frequently for Globetrotter’s schedules, while the production continues to keep major story details under wraps.
Recently, Mahesh Babu teased director Rajamouli on X, urging him to honour a promise to reveal more about the film in November. Priyanka joined the playful exchange, joking that she might spill on-set anecdotes — a tease Rajamouli cheekily blamed on Mahesh for giving her away.
Currently referred to as SSMB29 and Globetrotter, the project is the first time Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra are working together. Outside this film, Chopra is slated to appear in Citadel Season 2 and will take on the role of a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in The Bluff, opposite Karl Urban.
