FBI Director Kash Patel Denies Drinking Allegations In Heated U.S. Senate Exchange

Kash Patel strongly denied allegations of excessive drinking during a tense hearing before a U.S. Senate committee, calling the claims “unequivocally” and “categorically” false. The heated exchange took place during a budget hearing in Washington where lawmakers questioned Patel about his leadership of the FBI and recent media reports about his conduct.

The controversy began after a report published by The Atlantic claimed Patel had alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences while serving as FBI director.
