Manojh Sai Lella, a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, was detained by Frisco Police on Monday following alarming reports concerning his behavior at home.

Authorities were alerted after family members expressed concerns about Lella's mental health, noting his intimidating remarks. Their investigations unveiled that Lella reportedly attempted to ignite a fire at the family residence a few days ahead of the law enforcement's response. Lella is facing several charges, primarily arson with intentions to damage a habitat or place of worship, categorized as a first-degree felony. Furthermore, he is charged with making a terroristic threat against a family or household member, classified as a Class A misdemeanor under Texas law.
