FROMM., a design initiative headquartered in Msheireb (Doha) and Milan (Italy), has entered into a new collaboration with Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) during the Milan Design Week 2026.
This agreement follows a visit by a SPARK delegation to Milan, where they explored FROMM.’s various activities throughout the city. The team engaged with numerous exhibitions and cultural design ventures that bridge creative communities in Msheireb and Milan.
Under this partnership, FROMM.Lab, dedicated to education and talent enhancement, will partner with SPARK to implement a new programme focused on furniture and design. This initiative aims to uplift emerging designers, inspire collaborative creativity, and create opportunities within the regional design landscape.
Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SPARK, noted that this collaboration is in line with SPARK’s mission to establish Sharjah as a premier hub for innovation in creative industries and design. He emphasized the role of BASE39, SPARK’s creative ecosystem, in bridging talent with industry and global opportunities.
He further remarked that the collaboration with FROMM. and FROMM.Lab will enable regional designers to gain international recognition while also facilitating the exchange of global creative insights back to Sharjah.
