A tragic incident occurred in Taungoo, where a young man lost his life following a collision between a motorcycle and a truck. The accident happened the evening of April 3 in Ward No. 23.
Reports indicate that a Mitsubishi Canter truck was making a turn near a school when it struck the motorcycle traveling from the opposite direction. The rider, identified as Min Min Htun, 23, suffered critical injuries.
Though he was quickly taken to a medical facility, he succumbed to his wounds shortly thereafter. The truck driver has since been apprehended while officials investigate the incident.
Legal action is being pursued under Section 304-A of the Penal Code, with authorities urging the public to adhere to road safety regulations to avert such tragic events in the future.
