Sisters in Lucknow Pass Away Amid Distress Over Ailing Dog

A heartbreaking situation emerged in Lucknow where two young sisters lost their lives, with police suspecting a suicide instigated by profound emotional anguish regarding the deteriorating health of their beloved pet dog.

Family members reveal that the sisters—aged 22 and 24—had a deep connection with their German Shepherd, who had been suffering for an extended period. Despite receiving veterinary care, the dog's health continued to decline, causing significant emotional pain for the sisters.

The sisters' mother informed authorities of their previous mental health challenges, suggesting they were particularly susceptible to distress. She noted that coping with the imminent loss of their pet was exceptionally difficult for them.

On Thursday morning, the mother dispatched the sisters to fetch groceries. Upon their return, both allegedly collapsed. Emergency services rushed them to a nearby hospital, where the elder sister was pronounced dead upon arrival, while the younger sister succumbed later after hours of treatment.

Medical professionals have indicated that the apparent cause of death may be poisoning. A preliminary examination of their room uncovered a container of household chemicals, leading to an intensified investigation into the events that transpired.
