Emirates SkyCargo is taking a bold step forward by partnering with Pelicargo, an innovative online platform for air freight bookings. This collaboration designates Emirates SkyCargo as the inaugural Middle Eastern cargo airline to achieve API integration with Pelicargo, facilitating instant online bookings for its customers.
This agreement focuses on enhancing digital accessibility for cargo customers and freight forwarders, particularly in the U.S., where the demand for online booking options has surged over the past year.
Emirates SkyCargo has observed a growing trend among U.S. customers moving from traditional manual booking methods to digital platforms, including eSkyCargo and third-party services. The collaboration with Pelicargo will significantly widen the airline's reach to a larger client base.
Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates SkyCargo, shared that their digital solutions have greatly enhanced operational efficiency by promoting quicker exchanges of information and streamlined booking processes. He emphasized that the integration with Pelicargo is a vital advancement in nurturing relationships with both new and current clientele in the U.S.
He also remarked that digital transformation will remain a key component of the airline's growth strategy, enabling Emirates SkyCargo to supply flexible and efficient cargo solutions on a global scale.

He mentioned that this collaboration will expedite freight customers' access to Emirates SkyCargo’s extensive global network.
Emirates SkyCargo has made its five primary cargo offerings available on Pelicargo, including Fresh and Fresh Breathe for perishables, Pharma for temperature-sensitive medical shipments, Airfreight Priority for urgent deliveries, and AirFreight services for general cargo logistics.
With the addition of Pelicargo, which is now the fourth digital platform to offer booking services for Emirates SkyCargo following cargo.one, CargoAi, and WebCargo, customers can easily access flight timetables, pricing, real-time cargo capacity, and book instantly, twenty-four hours a day.
