New Hantavirus Case Emerges in Spain's Madrid Region

Spain has documented a new Hantavirus case as a citizen tested positive while being kept in preventive isolation at a hospital in Madrid, as per the Health Ministry's announcement.

According to officials, this individual was in close contact with someone associated with the previous outbreak. Currently, they are under medical observation and isolation at Gómez Ulla Hospital in the capital.

Health authorities indicated that the patient had already been under preventive monitoring prior to their positive test result. Medical professionals are vigilantly overseeing the patient's health while adhering to all requisite safety protocols.

The Health Ministry communicated that this case is tied to the earlier outbreak, with health teams persistently monitoring to avert any potential spread.
