The Dubai Metro topped the charts as the preferred mode of transport over the holiday, accommodating 3.3 million passengers via its Red and Green Lines. The Dubai Tram also exhibited consistent use, transporting 114,300 riders during this timeframe.
Buses played a crucial role, carrying 1.73 million passengers, in addition to marine transport services that accounted for 304,300 users across various water-based options.
Taxis, including those from Dubai Taxi and franchise firms, were the second most popular choice, serving 2.3 million passengers throughout the holiday.
Shared mobility services experienced a notable uptake as well, recording 402,700 riders. These offerings encompass smart app-driven vehicles, hourly rentals, and Bus-On-Demand services.
This surge in ridership emphasizes Dubai's significant reliance on its public transport and mobility framework during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, with countless residents and visitors making the most of the diverse transport options available within the emirate.
