Dubai: The 10th edition of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award has achieved a remarkable milestone, solidifying Dubai's status as a worldwide center for cultural and knowledge-focused initiatives.
Hosted by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library as part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, this year's award showcased unprecedented participation, underscoring the increasing global significance of the Arabic language.
A total of 2,683 entries were submitted this year, including 677 completed projects, which highlights a significant increase in creativity across language-related areas. In total, 3,664 participants, consisting of individuals, teams, and institutions, engaged with the award, indicating its broad international appeal.
Contributions came from 52 nations, with six countries participating for the first time—demonstrating an expanding global interest in Arabic and its role in fostering cultural exchange and knowledge sharing.
