Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) has officially initiated the construction of two significant ventures, PIXEL DHCC and IBN SINA+, representing a critical element in its AED1.3 billion development strategy.

These initiatives aim to bolster Dubai's status as a premier global healthcare investment hub while fostering further growth in its healthcare sector. Anticipated completion is set for November 2027.

The momentous announcement was made at a ceremony with notable attendees including Issam Galadari, CEO of DHCA, Dr. Khalil Charif, Managing Partner at International Foundation Group LLC (IFG), Roula El Hachem Terrien, CEO of Design and Architecture Bureau (DAR), and other senior officials and stakeholders.

Issam Galadari emphasized that the onset of these projects marks a significant advancement towards high-quality, sustainable healthcare facilities. He further noted that they aim to attract increased investments, including foreign direct investment, complementing the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy.

PIXEL DHCC will feature a state-of-the-art office building and is poised to become the first LEED Platinum-certified structure within the healthcare city. Spanning 13,000 square meters over nine floors, it will offer flexible office environments along with retail units on the ground floor, crafted by P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd.

IBN SINA+ is set to be a cutting-edge medical complex designed by DAR, covering 5,800 square meters over five floors. This facility will incorporate areas for surgical procedures, diagnostics, outpatient services, and medical offices, serving as an expansion of the current IBN SINA establishment.

In parallel, DHCA is investing in supportive infrastructure to enhance accessibility and cater to the growing healthcare community within Dubai Healthcare City.
