This initiative is pivotal for establishing foundational services that pave the way for future residential, hospitality, and multi-use projects. Key elements of the work comprise the development of roads, water supply systems, electricity and telecommunications networks, drainage and sewage systems, as well as connections to the district cooling systems. The project also necessitates collaboration with the existing infrastructure on Island A.

This contract represents a significant advancement in the wider Dubai Islands development, aligning with the ambitions outlined in the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
Khalid Al Malik, the CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, remarked that this project exemplifies noteworthy progress towards realizing Dubai Islands as a comprehensive destination aimed at accommodating population growth, boosting tourism, and facilitating economic development.
Spanning an impressive 18.6 square kilometers and comprising five interconnected islands, Dubai Islands will deliver approximately 57 kilometers of coastline, including 21 kilometers of pristine beaches. The area is designed to accommodate over 231,000 residents in around 49,000 housing units, featuring a mix of villas, mansions, and apartments, alongside resorts, marinas, and leisure facilities.
