Dubai Holding, a prominent diversified investment entity operating across over 30 nations, has announced its recent acquisition of the prestigious five-star Jumeirah Mallorca hotel in Spain.

This luxurious destination will continue to be under the management of Jumeirah, the flagship hospitality brand of Dubai Holding and recognized globally for its excellence in luxury accommodations. Jumeirah has efficiently managed the hotel for several years.

Nestled on the picturesque northwest coast of Mallorca, Jumeirah Mallorca boasts 121 opulent rooms, all offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the UNESCO-certified Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. The resort prides itself on its robust sustainability initiatives and has been awarded the esteemed LEED Platinum certification for its exemplary environmental performance.

Dubai Holding plans to invest in further elevating the hotel’s amenities, with aspirations to establish Jumeirah Mallorca as a flagship location within the greater Mediterranean area.

This acquisition is a strategic move that complements Dubai Holding's long-term vision of securing premium assets in key global markets, contributing to a well-rounded and resilient investment portfolio.

Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, remarked that this acquisition strengthens the company’s international hospitality footprint and signifies a commitment to sustainable long-term growth. He noted that Jumeirah Mallorca epitomizes the high standards and guest experience synonymous with both Dubai Holding Hospitality and Jumeirah.

Following this purchase, Dubai Holding Hospitality’s portfolio now includes 34 hotels and resorts globally, which encompasses five Jumeirah establishments across Europe. The group’s diverse hospitality assets also feature prestigious names such as Bvlgari Hotel Dubai, along with a premium food and beverage collection, alongside Jumeirah’s 29 luxury properties in major global markets.

This acquisition further enhances Jumeirah’s presence in Europe’s leading leisure hotspots. With existing hotels in London and Capri, and the upcoming launch of Jumeirah Le Richemond Geneva in Switzerland, Jumeirah continues to broaden its reach in pivotal cities and resort areas, solidifying its status as a leader in luxury hospitality worldwide.
