Authorities indicated that the restrictions might remain in place or be revised based on ongoing health evaluations and updates regarding the virus.
The visa suspension specifically targets all new applications from the affected nations. Furthermore, individuals arriving from the DRC, Uganda, and South Sudan will be denied entry into Dubai during this suspension period.
There are additional measures affecting travelers who have recently transited through any of these countries; however, an exception exists for those who have been outside the troubled regions for over 21 consecutive days before reaching Dubai.
Cargo operations between Dubai and the impacted nations will continue without disruption, and transit flights at UAE airports will remain operational to ensure international transport and trade functions effectively.
