During the session, His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Busenad updated Sheikh Hamdan on the latest regarding cargo movement, operational metrics, and strategies aimed at assisting businesses and safeguarding trade against current geopolitical strains.
Dubai Customs showcased its comprehensive mechanism for tracking trade flows and supply chains across both regional and international landscapes. This structure enables authorities to promptly gauge shifts and implement measures to ensure efficiency and expedited customs clearance.
Moreover, Dr. Busenad discussed various initiatives designed in collaboration with strategic allies and clients. A highlight included the Green Corridor project launched within 72 hours with Omani authorities, intended to facilitate cargo transit and bolster resilience in regional supply chains.
In addition, Dubai Customs rolled out adaptive operational strategies and customs facilitation initiatives aimed at helping businesses navigate trade obstacles and ensure the uninterrupted flow of goods.
