Exciting April Programs Announced at the Zayed National Museum

Post by : Bianca Hayes

The Zayed National Museum has unveiled its Learning and Public Engagement programme for April, inviting visitors to delve into the UAE's vibrant history, culture, and heritage through interactive experiences, workshops, and guided tours.

This month's offerings include not only new initiatives but also enhanced existing programs. One standout feature is the return of Al Dhuha Hour on April 13, now a monthly occurrence following its successful introduction in December 2025. This program is specifically tailored for senior citizens, including those living with dementia and their caregivers. Participants will kick off the session with a botanical eco-printing workshop that utilizes traditional Emirati flora, beautifully merging creativity with cultural insights.

Pushing boundaries beyond its physical space, the museum is rolling out From Museum to Community, part of the Multaqa Zayed National Museum initiative. Starting this April, this outreach program will host a variety of talks and discussions at cultural centers throughout the UAE, aimed at sparking conversations between local communities, heritage experts, and researchers.

The museum remains committed to its successes in guided tours and interactive workshops. Visitors can join enriching bilingual experiences such as A Walk Through Our History—available in Emirati Sign Language—and A Walk Among Our Wings. There are plenty of family-friendly workshops, including Oasis Weaving, Build Your Museum, Create Your Calming Necklace, Design Your Porcelain Fruit Bowl, and Tree of Values, catering to all ages.

The diverse lineup for April showcases the museum's dedication to making cultural learning accessible, inclusive, and engaging for everyone.
