Dubai Media City has drawn major media players including CNN, Discovery Networks, WPP, and Publicis Groupe, in addition to regional leaders like ITP Media Group and OSN Group. The district's efforts have garnered Dubai recognition as the Capital of Arab Media in both 2020 and 2021.
For the third consecutive year in 2024, Dubai ranked as the top global destination for Greenfield foreign direct investment in cultural and creative sectors, attracting 971 projects that generated AED 18.86 billion in investments and created 23,517 new jobs.

The region champions talent initiatives such as the Emirati Media Talent Pledge and collaborates with the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism on the InstaBlock Lab for intellectual property protection. Supporting startups through in5 Media, part of Dubai's renowned incubator, in5, Dubai Media City has assisted more than 1,100 startups since 2013, raising AED 9 billion in funding. The incubator provides entrepreneurs with creative spaces, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
