In a significant advancement for Dubai's burgeoning logistics sector, AWOT Global Logistics Corporation has set up its regional headquarters at Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ), a key component of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ).

This development signals increasing confidence from leading global logistics firms in Dubai’s favorable business conditions, cutting-edge infrastructure, and strategic location that links Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Arif Al Khouri, Senior Vice President of Customer Services at DAFZ, and Chris Yang, General Manager for AWOT in the MENA region. Notable attendees included senior officials from AWOT Corporation such as David Lee (Chief Operating Officer), Kenny Li (Chief Commercial Officer), Sophia Zeng (Vice President of Overseas Units), and Kai Zhang (Sales Director), emphasizing the significance of this expansion.

He highlighted that DAFZ provides a comprehensive platform that promotes growth and sustainability, supporting the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, aimed at doubling the emirate's economy and establishing Dubai among the world's top three cities.

Al Khouri further noted that DAFZ’s proximity to Dubai International Airport, coupled with its advanced infrastructure, allows logistics firms to manage intricate supply chains efficiently amidst rising global trade demands.

Chris Yang described the inauguration of the headquarters as a crucial milestone in AWOT’s growth narrative. He emphasized that Dubai serves as an optimal base for expanding integrated logistics solutions, thanks to its conducive business environment, exceptional infrastructure, and strategic access to essential international markets.
