Al Madinah University in Ajman has forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Legal Affairs of Ajman Government, aimed at reinforcing collaboration in legal knowledge and innovation, training, and expertise sharing.
This agreement seeks to boost relationships between academic institutions and governmental bodies, fostering the evolution of the legal landscape to align with contemporary practices and technological developments.
The accord was penned by Imran Khan and Abdulrahman Ali Hamid Al Shamsi.
According to the MoU, both entities will unite their efforts to expand institutional competencies and refine integration in legal practices through a host of training programs, workshops, research initiatives, and the dissemination of best legal practices.
Additionally, the alliance will emphasize the organization of targeted training sessions in advanced legal sectors, including the role of artificial intelligence in legal settings, legal documentation, and procedural expertise. These efforts aim to align with the latest legislative changes and evolving legal demands.
As part of this collaboration, both parties will also assess the creation of a platform to document and relay legal information, training modules, and professional resources to maximize mutual benefits.
To promote academic and scientific alliances, the institutions have committed to hosting an international conference next May, titled “Legislative Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates.” This event will convene legal experts, academics, and policymakers to deliberate on innovations and the future landscape of legal services in the UAE.
Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to fostering innovative, tech-based solutions within the legal sector to enhance efficiency and promote sustainable cooperation through joint initiatives, training programs, and exchange of expertise.
The signing ceremony was graced by attendees including Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Nasser Al Qahtani, Ahmed Al Fouly, Abdulrahim Hussein, and Salma Sinaran.
