Aishwarya Rai Bachchan honored the memory of her late father, Krishnaraj Rai, on his birth anniversary, offering fans a poignant glimpse into their family's cherished traditions. She shared a series of nostalgic images on social media, reflecting the enduring bond between Krishnaraj and his granddaughter, Aaradhya.
The first photo captured a tender moment from the past, featuring a young Aaradhya planting a kiss on her grandfather's cheek, with Aishwarya smiling warmly alongside them. The second picture showcased a present-day scene of the mother-daughter duo, dressed in white, offering their prayers in front of Krishnaraj's portrait, symbolizing his continued presence in their lives.
Aishwarya shared a heartfelt message alongside the images: “Happy Birthday dearest Daddy-Ajjaaa. Our Guardian Angel, love you eternally. Thanking you for ALL your infinite love and blessings as our Aaradhya turned 14.” This message beautifully combined the celebration of her father's legacy with the recognition of her daughter's milestones.
Krishnaraj Rai passed away in 2017 following a prolonged illness in Mumbai. Aishwarya and he shared a magnetic bond, and she has consistently paid homage to him on both his birth and death anniversaries, reminding herself and her family of his profound influence as they navigate their lives.
In her recent professional endeavors, Aishwarya Rai was featured in Mani Ratnam’s epic 2023 film Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, which enjoyed significant commercial success, grossing over ₹344 crore globally. Her performance received acclaim, notably earning her the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) at SIIMA. Husband Abhishek Bachchan praised her role, calling it her best yet.
Through this year’s heartfelt tribute, Aishwarya continues to share her emotional journey, demonstrating the lasting bonds that guide her, her family, and especially Aaradhya.
