Tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have sharply increased following the release of dramatic footage by the Afghan Taliban, showing a drone striking a Pakistani border outpost. The black-and-white video, shared by Taliban officials, depicts a small ordnance, likely a mortar round, hitting the roof of a rectangular structure claimed to be a Pakistani military post, causing a significant explosion.

Reports suggest dozens of Pakistani soldiers have been killed or gone missing, while Taliban fighters have also sustained casualties.
