Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, this festival emphasizes the power of culture as a connector of nations, enhancing understanding and creativity.
Highlighting cultural diplomacy since 2004, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah noted that the festival plays a pivotal role in reaffirming the UAE’s status as a global arts hub. He expressed that this theme represents the UAE's vision of leveraging culture for peace, harmony, and sustainable growth. The festival will maintain its tradition of merging heritage with modernity, featuring both Emirati and international talents on Abu Dhabi's acclaimed stages, recognized as a UNESCO City of Music.
Additionally, this edition will celebrate the enduring friendship between the UAE and the US, marking over five decades of cooperation and the 250th anniversary of US independence. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized how this initiative highlights the shared values of tolerance and fraternity, while the universal language of culture fosters meaningful interactions among people.
The 2026 lineup promises cross-cultural initiatives that include premieres, co-productions, and collaborations with leading global cultural institutions, designed to inspire creativity and cultural exchange. Special focus will be placed on engaging the youth, supporting emerging artists, and captivating audiences throughout the UAE.
As ADMAF commemorates three decades of service under Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan’s guidance, the upcoming festival reiterates the UAE's dedication to nurturing artistic talent, enhancing the creative landscape, and championing culture as a vehicle for progress. The festival represents how art and culture can unite nations, stimulate global conversation, and pave the way for a future built on wisdom and cooperation.
