Actor Vishnu Vishal and badminton champion Jwala Gutta share a heartfelt bond with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan that extends far beyond the film industry. The Tamil actor, who celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary with Jwala earlier this year, recently opened up about how Aamir Khan played a life-changing role in their journey to parenthood — from supporting them during IVF treatment to naming their daughter, Mira.
Vishnu Vishal revealed that his friendship with Aamir Khan began in 2023 under professional circumstances. At the time, Aamir was producing a film and needed a homestay instead of a hotel for his team while working in Chennai.
“He was in production for a movie then, and they needed me to find a homestay instead of a hotel for 2–3 months so his team would have enough space to work,” the actor recalled.
That professional favor eventually blossomed into a close friendship. “I remember arranging villas for them to stay, and we became friends from there,” Vishnu Vishal added. During that period, Aamir Khan was in Chennai to look after his mother, Zeenat Hussain, who was reportedly receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
The Ratsasan actor spoke fondly about how Aamir Khan influenced him both professionally and personally. Vishnu Vishal said he gained a new outlook on cinema and life after interacting with Aamir.
“His conviction has given me a new perspective towards cinema. I saw a very different man from whom I initially perceived him to be,” he said. “I always loved him as an actor, but I also saw the empathy and care he has for a lot of people.”
He further praised Aamir’s humility despite his immense fame. “Imagine having the kind of pressure or stature he has in life and still being that gentle. I learnt from him as a producer, an actor, a father, a husband and a human being,” Vishnu Vishal shared.
In an emotional revelation, Vishnu Vishal shared how Aamir Khan played a pivotal role in their personal life when the couple was struggling to conceive. He called Aamir “the greatest gift God has given” to them, explaining that the actor brought light into their lives during a dark period.
“There was a time when Jwala had given up on conceiving, and we started to look into adoption,” he recalled. That’s when Aamir stepped in, offering support and guidance.
“He helped us find a good doctor in Mumbai for IVF treatment for Jwala. And when she became pregnant, it made us very emotional because she had almost given up… he brought back joy into our lives. He treated us like nothing less than family,” Vishnu Vishal said.
The couple’s gratitude grew deeper as they recalled how Aamir’s family took care of Jwala Gutta during her pregnancy. “Jwala was in Mumbai with his family for almost ten months, and his mom and sister took care of her personally. They treated her so well,” the actor shared.
He added that what began as a professional acquaintance had evolved into a deep personal relationship. “That bond has now evolved into a close friendship. When Jwala became pregnant, I told Aamir he should be the one to name our baby, because he was the one to give us hope,” Vishnu Vishal said with emotion.
Earlier this year, Vishnu Vishal introduced their daughter Mira to the world while celebrating his fourth wedding anniversary with Jwala. In that same post, he shared that Aamir Khan had flown to Hyderabad to name their child.
The couple also posted a special video from the naming ceremony, where Aamir Khan was seen holding baby Mira and smiling warmly for the camera alongside Vishnu and Jwala. The moment symbolized the deep and genuine connection shared between the two families.
