Continuing her impressive streak, sprinter Arwa Ali has not only qualified for the final of the women’s 100m race but has also established a new record for the Games at 11.66 seconds. This performance secures her spot at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, USA, in 2026, where she will meet the globe's leading young talents.

In middle-distance events, Aisha Mohammed shone in the women’s 400m, leading her heat with an impressive time of 54.42 seconds, ensuring her place in the finals and showcasing her remarkable speed. On the men’s side, Saeed Omar also performed strongly in the 400m, winning his heat in 47.53 seconds, thus qualifying for the final and showing promise for UAE athletics on an international level.

The UAE national golf team's initial round saw notable results, with Mohammed Thabet scoring 79, Abdullah Salmeen finishing with 92, and Marwan Al Emadi at 95. In the girls’ category, both Sarah Abubakar and Asya Saleem carded 72, while Anka Mateo concluded with 75. These scores highlight the growing competitiveness and skill among UAE youth golfers.

In team play, the UAE youth golf team ended the first round with 171 strokes, placing them 14th overall, while the girls’ team performed commendably, finishing 8th with a combined score of 144.
