A 16-year-old boy has died following a stabbing incident in Windsor, with police confirming that a suspect has been arrested and the case is being treated as a homicide. The incident has raised concerns in the local community as authorities continue their investigation.
According to police, officers were called to the 300 block of McDougall Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday after receiving reports of a person with a weapon. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found the teenager suffering from serious stab wounds. He was quickly transported to hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries.
Authorities acted swiftly following the incident and were able to locate a suspect within a short time. The individual was arrested in the 1500 block of Goyeau Street, not far from the scene of the attack.
