The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, welcomed a high-ranking delegation from the United Arab Emirates to discuss opportunities for collaboration in tourism, air travel, trade, and investment. This important meeting took place at the Yntymak Ordo Presidential Administration complex in Bishkek.

During their discussions, Kasymaliev emphasized the significance of the UAE as a vital economic ally for Kyrgyzstan in the Middle East. He reiterated the government's dedication to enhancing bilateral ties and exploring innovative avenues for mutually beneficial partnerships aimed at boosting economic growth and regional interconnectivity.

A key focus was on expanding the tourism sector. The two nations assessed ways to increase tourist exchanges and improve collaborative efforts between tourism agencies, businesses, and investors. Kyrgyzstan is keen to highlight its stunning mountain vistas, rich cultural heritage, and adventure tourism to attract Gulf region visitors.

The conversation also touched on the necessity of improving air connectivity between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE. Enhanced aviation services are anticipated to foster tourism, business travel, and trade, creating fresh economic collaboration opportunities. Officials stressed the importance of adding more flight routes and improving access between major urban centers in both nations.

Kasymaliev expressed appreciation towards the UAE delegation and Air Arabia for their role in aiding the evacuation of Kyrgyz citizens from the UAE back in March 2026. As a token of gratitude, representatives were awarded Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet of Ministers.

Investment cooperation was prominently featured on the agenda. Kyrgyzstan extended an invitation to UAE investors to engage in substantial national development initiatives, particularly in tourism infrastructure, transportation, logistics, and other strategic sectors. Officials noted that attracting foreign investments is crucial for sustainable economic growth.

Concluding their meeting, both parties committed to continued collaboration in enhancing tourism, expanding air routes, reinforcing trade ties, and boosting investment ventures. These discussions underscored a collective commitment to deepening economic relationships and discovering new opportunities for mutual benefit.
