Kapil Sharma’s popular café in Surrey, Canada — Kap’s Cafe — was targeted by gunfire for the third time, in a shocking incident captured on video Thursday.
According to police, gunmen opened fire at the establishment late in the evening. No injuries were reported, but the attack has reignited concerns about public safety and organized crime links in the area.
Attack Claimed Online
A post on social media, allegedly from associates of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack. The individuals identified themselves as Kulveer Sidhu and Goldy Dhillon, stating the firing was intended as a warning tied to personal and ideological grievances.
History of Attacks
This is the third incident involving the same café:
First shooting: July 10, 2025
Second shooting: August 7, 2025
Third shooting: October 2025
In each case, windows were shattered and the café sustained property damage, though no casualties were reported.
Following the earlier attacks, authorities in both Canada and India enhanced security measures for Kapil Sharma, reflecting the cross-border nature of the threats.
Ongoing Investigation
The Surrey RCMP has launched a full investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses. Police have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the social media claims.
Officials say additional patrols have been deployed in the area to ensure public safety as inquiries continue.
